International Association for Percutaneous Hydrotomy (Association Internationale d’Hydrotomie Percutanée - A.I.H.P.) is an association registered in France (association loi 1901) whose the purposes are promoting the care techniques by Percutaneous Hydrotomy, improving the diffusion of the knowledge in this domain, administering the training for these techniques, enhancing the research in Percutaneous Hydrotomy and making easier the communications between medical practitioners, therapists and patients.
Percutaneous hydrotomy is a technique resulting from medical research in the doctor’s practice. It has been tested for more than 25 years with several ten or so of thousands of cases associated with meso-infusion at an international level. It remains the responsibility of the practitioner, but has yet to be subjected to scientific validation that would allow it to be universally recognised. It uses the principle of very dilute mesotherapy or meso-dilution.
Let us remind that mesotherapy has been recognised and validated by the Académie de Médecine, l’Ordre des Médecins, and the ANAES (French national agency for healthcare accreditation and evaluation). It is taught in university hospitals with an inter-university diploma (DIU) (Paris, Dijon, Bordeaux, Marseille, Clermont-Ferrand).
